[Haruhi Fujioka]

Haruhi Fujioka understood Physics. She could decipher what "trajectory" and "acceleration" meant. She was aware of the forces of gravity and what it could do with an object of mass.
 
Inertia, Force, Weightlessness.

Haruhi had studied the subject matter very throughly; gaining an appreciation for these natural occurring forces around her. In theory, applying what she learned in class would have been beneficial for her outing with Ritsu Kasanoda.

But in practice... all of Newton's Laws were evident on the Host Club's rookie.

"AHHHHHH!"

It was her first time on ice skates.

I'm on a date with Fujioka! I'm on a date with Fujioka!

Those were the very thoughts that ran inside Ritsu Kasanoda's head. He tried to focus where he was and what he was doing, yet he couldn't help but be happy at the thought that the host club member agreed to go skating with him.

The yakuza leader looked over Haruhi, tentatively moving around with her skates. His eyes widened at the sight before him. He suddenly found it hard to breathe.

Fujioka... looks very cute today...

Despite the cold that emanated from the skating rink, Ritsu felt a hot blush creep up his cheeks. He looked down, hoping Haruhi wouldn't notice.

"AHHHHHH!"

Looking up, he saw the object of his innermost thoughts sway dangerously.

"H-HARUHI!!!" Ritsu move forward immediately, catching his date in his arms. Holding her steadily, he looked at Haruhi, concern evident in his eyes.

"Are you all right, Fujioka?"

"I'm sor--woah!" She had assumed that gained some semblance of balance; but her foot missed a step, causing her to cling tighter on Ritsu's shoulders.

"I'm really sorry, Kasanoda-kun," Haruhi said, a nervous laugh escaping her. "This is my first time skating so I don't--woah-- know how to balance."

After making sure she could stand without landing on the ice, she gently pushed herself off the boy and said to him, "Thank you for catching me though."

As soon as the girl expressed her gratitude, her feet weren't cooperating with her. She tried to grip the ice with her skates' blades but Haruhi's efforts were in vain.

The brunette slipped and was now sitting on the ice like a fallen rag doll.

She... She's actually holding onto me...! M-M-MAH?!

Ritsu Kasanoda mentally slapped himself to stay focused on the moment at hand.

"I'm really sorry, Kasanoda-kun. This is my first time skating so I don't--woah-- know how to balance." Haruhi had released her hold on his shoulders. "Thank you for catching me though."

"A-Ah, it's oka-.."

The yakuza leader was not fast enough to catch her; Haruhi had slipped and was now sitting on the ice, her cheeks a dark pink from the cold or embarrasment, he knew not which. Ritsu moved forward and crouched down until he himself was sitting on the ice beside her.

"Fujioka? Are you all right? I hope you're not hurt anywhere." Ritsu patted Haruhi's upper arms before glancing at her face.

His heart seemed to stop beating.

Damn, I could lose myself in those eyes..

Without thinking, Ritsu slowly lowered his head towards hers.

His face barely moved two inches before he shook his head and looked away, hating himself for even thinking of kissing her.

Dammit! Why did Fujioka have to look so cute today?!

He glanced back at Haruhi, wondering what she thought of him now.

"Eh, Fujioka...? I could guide you while skating... Aaah!!! Don't get me wrong!!!" He was waving his hands wildly. "It's just until you can get used to your skates..." Ritsu trailed off, unsure whether to continue after what just nearly happened. Clearing his throat, he rose to his feet and stretched out his right hand, giving Haruhi a tender smile.

"May I skate beside you, Haruhi?"

She had closed her eyes when she landed on the ice. Haruhi could feel the harsh cold beneath her as she rubbed her sore part with one hand. She wanted to stand but her knees were still trembling from the fall.

"Fujioka? Are you all right? I hope you're not hurt anywhere." she opened her eyes when she felt a pat on her upper arms. She looked up to see Ritsu sitting beside her.

"I'm fine, Kasanoda-kun. I'm not hurt anywhere." she answered him, a smile graced her features.

The girl paused suddenly. Haruhi found that the boy's face was inching closer to hers.

"Kasanoda-kun?" she blinked, giving him an earnest look.

"Eh, Fujioka...? I could guide you while skating... Aaah!!! Don't get me wrong!!!" she giggled when she saw him gesturing wildly, "It's just until you can get used to your skates..."

The rookie was about to answer the redhead when he rosed to his feet, offering a hand to the girl sitting on the ice skating rink.

"May I skate beside you, Haruhi?"

She returned the smile he gave her and firmly grasp his hand into her own. "I would like that, Kasanoda-kun. Umm, I need a little help standing up though..."

Ritsu's heart seem to beat loudly into his ear as he waited for his date to take his hand.

Lub-dub... Lub-dub... Lub-dub... Lub-dub... Lub-dub...

The yakuza's heart warmed as Haruhi smiled up at him. "I would like that, Kasanoda-kun. Umm, I need a little help standing up though..."

When she took a firm hold of his hand, Ritsu gently pulled her to her feet. He held on to her by her upper arms to make sure she will stand. The Kasanoda heir closed his eyes, smelling the fragrance of her hair.

"Aaah~" he said without thinking.

I wonder what shampoo she uses, he thought absentmindedly.

Turning the girl around so he was now behind her, Ritsu took hold of Haruhi's hands and gently pushed off with his feet.

"A-ano... how... how does your sore part feel now?" Ritsu blushed while saying. "I hope... I hope you're all right with this..."

"It's a little tender," she grimaced while rubbing her backside. "but otherwise, I'm fine. Thank you for asking."

Turning to the boy, Haruhi noticed Ritsu's cheeks turning beet red as he went on. She squinted her brows; trying of figure out why the boy's face was flushed.

... it must be the cold.

"I hope... I hope you're all right with this..."  She heard him say. It puzzled her.

"Unn. Why wouldn't I be?" the girl smiled, hoping it would put him at ease. "I'm having a lot of fun, Kasnoda-kun."
